CONTENT TO SEE THE WORLD
Outdoor Enthusiast, Photographer, Videographer, and Minimalist. Brilliant at taking Rachel's wild and crazy dreams and bringing them into the realm of possibility.
Writer, Dreamer, Fun Loving, Spontaneous. Hates rules. Has the ability to make any experience an adventure, while being patient with her neurotic husband. She also makes a mean Beef Bourguignon.
We got bit by the traveling bug back in 2008. Since then, we have tried to take every opportunity to pack up our gear and jump a plane to see the world. Ten years later, not only are we still hooked....but we are now overwhelmed with how much there is to see. One day we will have the time to see it all. Until then, feel free to tag along with us on our little adventures.
I (Matt) on occasion, have been labeled as lazy. I like to call it efficient. If there is a way to automate something and have it work for me, I will. For this reason I subscribed to my own blog updates! That way, if Rach adds a new post it gets sent right to my inbox. Rach on the other hand, would say that there is a measure of excitement when checking to see if there is something new. So unless you are an adrenaline junky like Rach, feel free to be "efficient" like me, and subscribe below.
We love feedback. Well, we love positive feedback. Unless of course you want to let us know we misspelled something.....that would be fine too. We would also love to know if there is something you would like us to write about, or if there is a piece of gear you would like us to test and review. On second thought, no matter what it is, please feel free to contact us. Unless it is spam. Or negative.
Two Simple People has been through a few changes over the years. It started simply as way to help fund a move to Ecuador. But as time went on, we realized it was much more than that. It is who we are. And we also found that, for some reason, a few of you actually like to keep up with us. So we decided to remove the ads, and just have fun sharing us. We want this site to be as enjoyable for you to visit, as it is for us to own.
The problem is, Matt is very expensive. There seems to always be the gear that "we just have to try", or the truck we "just have to buy". Ok, I guess I am no angel.....flying to Africa can get a tiny bit expensive. Either way, we have conveniently provided you with a tool (see below) for the moment that you get that twinge of generosity. Even if it is just enough for a cup of coffee....we would be forever grateful.
But please remember, whether you donate or not, we very much appreciate all your support. Thank you!
